Baby stroller features
Combined strollers, travel
systems, umbrella strollers, jogging strollers - which one to buy? Before
investing hundreds of dollars in the latest inflatable stroller, consider your
child's safety and your travel needs.
- The stroller seat should fully recline for your newborn and adjust to the seat as your child grows.
- If you are always on the go, buy a lightweight umbrella stroller. Just make sure it fully unfolds.
- Need a place to store all your baby gear? A full size stroller will give you more storage space.
- The stroller must be durable, with a wide wheelbase. When you lightly press on the handles, they should not tip over.
- Make sure you can easily open the stroller with one hand. You don't want to fight him while holding the baby in your other hand.
- Walk behind the stroller to make sure the handlebar is at the right height and that you feel comfortable pushing it.
- To ensure your child's safety, look for a T-buckle that wraps around your child's waist and straps between the legs.
- The stroller must have brakes on the rear wheels and lockable front wheels.
- When buying a stroller for two, tandem models (where one child sits in front of the other) are easier to maneuver than side by side.
